Lovelock, before leaving for America aboard the Queen Mary, disclosed that he is working out a secret running plan to use against the runners whom he will meet at Princeton University The “Dally Mail” adds that the plan will prevent his competitors from boxing him in and arranging for one of their men to win. Lovelock will return to London before Christmas and will then go to New Zealand to advise on the organisation of athletics. Afterward he will retire for two years in order to repair his health and his finances.
