MAINE ELECTIONS
Republicans Succeed (Received September 16, 7.30 p.m.) New York, September 15. Final results in the Maine elections show that Republicans captured three seats, also the Governorship and the Federal Senatorship. The fact that Maine is normally Republican makes the election not an accurate barometer for the national elections in November.
