OBITUARY
Mr. R. N. Wall The death of Mr. Raymond N. Wall. a well-known horticulturist, occurred suddenly at his residence Lower Hutt, on Monday. He was 54 years of age. Mr. Wall had been in the einploy of Messrs. F. Cooper, Ltd., for about 12 years when the firm decided to continue in wholesale business only, some 10 years ago. Mr. Wall took over the shop and conducted the business to the time of his death. In his private capacity, Mr. Wall specialised particularly In delphiniums and gladioli culture, and for years was prominent in the activities of the Hutt Valley Horticultural Society, in which be was an exhibitor, but more often a Judge. In his earlier days Mr. Wall was a keen cricketer. He played for the Cooper Cricket Club and took a part in the foundation of the Mercantile Cricket League, on the executive of which he served for a time. Mr., Wall leaves a widow, three sons and three daughters.
