Miss A. Lauudy is a Wanganui visitor to Auckland. Mrs. Acton Adams, Christchurch, is staying at the Midland Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Karie arrived at ■Wellington yesterday morning from Nelson. Mrs. David Peacock, Wellington, is visiting Auckland, and is the guest of Mrs. Hugh Kirker, Remuera. Mrs. Charles Pharazyn, who has spent a few weeks in Nelson, returned to Wellington yesterday morning. Miss Marie Jenkins, Wellington South, is visiting Mrs. Charles Jenkinst Christchurch. Mr. and Mrs. J. Parker, Everton Terrace, left Wellington last night for Auckland by Hie Awatea. Mr. and Mrs. F. Picot left Wellington by the Awatea last night en route tb Australia, Mr. and Mrs. G. Seers left Wellington for Australia by the Awatea last night.- . Mr and Mrs. H. McAlister, Invercargill, left Wellington for Australia, via Auckland, by the Awatea last night. Mrs. Wilfred Fortune will leave Wellington this week to take up her residence at Auckland. Miss Janet Orbell, Canterbury, is the guest of Mrs. Jasper Herrick, Hawke’s Bay. Mrs. Cowper, Wanganui,, arrived at Wellington yesterday morning for a brief visit. Mrs. B. Goodger, Dunedin, who has been visiting her sister, Mrs. James Brown, Hawkstone Crescent, has returned to, her home. Miss Anderson, formerly of Napier, ba s arrived at Westport to take up her duties as domestic science instructor at the Technical High School. Miss Wyn Gilbert, Te Awamutu, arrived at Wellington yesterday, and is the guest of Mrs. M. Campbell, Brougham Avenue. Mrs. P, A Herman, Auckland, who has been the guest of her daughter, Mrs. A. B. Sievwright, Wellington, left for the north by the Awatea last night. Mr. and Mrs. A. Sellars, Belfast, Christchurch, who have been spending a fortnight’s holiday at Wellington, have returned home. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Tingey, St. Andrew’s Square, arrived at Wellington yesterday morning to join the Awatea for a visit to Sydney and Melbourne. Mr. and Mrs. Reginald J. Annan, both missionaries from Ethiopia, are the guests of the Rev. J. S. and Mrs. Pate, Palmerston North. Mr. and Mrs. ■ Annan have spent over five years in Ethiopia. Mr. and Mrs N. E. Tingey, Christchurch, arrived at Wellington from the south yesterday morning to connect with the Awatea for Australia. They will visit Sydney and Melbourne and expect to return in about a month.
