Tbe large scale on which foreign countries are entering iuto all kinds of sport is evident in the latest Danish project of building a sports ground in Copenhagen at a cost of £BO,OOO. Up-to-date accommodation for several games, including football and lawn tennis, will be provided on a super scale. A centre court, for Davis Cup ■ tennis matches will be rivalled only by three covered courts, one of which will seat 4000 spectators, and no fewer than. 22 outer courts. The scheme is in the hands of Nils Middleboe. captain of the Danish Soccer team which played in tho first Olympic footbaU matches at the White City in 1908. He has 15 international Danish caps.
