WRESTLING ON TUESDAY
A wrestling match which has all the ingredients of a real thriller will be seen at the Wellington Town Hall next Tuesday night, when the contestants will be “Lofty” Blomfield, the New Zealand champion, a.nd Bob Kruse, the formidable wristlock expert from Portland. Both of these men are of the aggressive class, which neither asks nor gives quarter, and are ring personalities capable of working the feelings of their audience up to a high pitch. Kruse has the finest array of wristlocks that has been demonstrated by any wrestler in the Dominion, in addition to the ability to use hammerlocks and scissors grips with damaging effect Whether his attacking equipment will enable him to establish superiority against the New Zealander whose octopus deathlock is practically a certain fall-winner, remains to lie seen.
