The Californian consignment over-carried to Sydney is due back on Monday, and the first of the new season’s shipment from Canada is expected on September 28. The latter arc being quoted to arrive nt 15/6 per crate. There is a steady demand for horse feed. Chaff is unchanged at £B/12/6 per ton, while the southern firmne.se in oats 'has brought the local price of B gartons up to 4/4 per bushel. Maize is still very scarce and merchants have raised their selling rates to 6/11 per bushel. an almost prohibitive figure.
