The fourth League of Nations volume published under the guidance of the nutrition committee reveals that British Empire countries are the largest nieat-eaters. New Zealand leads with an annual iter capita eon sumption of 2361 b.. followed by Australia 2021 b.. Canada 1441 b., and Britain 1401 b. The United States, with 136, leads foreign countries, after which comes Denmark 120. and Ger many 110. The largest sugar consumer is Denmark, with 1201 b. per capita. Britain consumes 110 Australia 107. and the United States 103. Switzerland consumes 58 gallons ot milk, the United States 39. Denmark 36, New Zealand 28. and Britain, France and Germany. 23 each.
