Transferred to Hospital.— Captain R. M. Kane, of the Marama, being lowered overside from the vessel on its arrival from Sydney yesterday morning. Operated on on Friday for appendicitis, which had seized him during the passage, he was taken to a private hospital by the Free Ambulance from the wharf.
