Tour of the Springboks By Telegraph—Press Association. Gisborne. September 14. With complete unanimity and considerable enthusiasm a large Native gathering held after the Prince of Wales Cup Rugby match on Saturday expressed the opinion that providing no fresh cause of friction arises a special Maori fixture against the Springboks should be sought. The gathering was in honour of the visiting players, and when the question was raised informally by a speaker there was a spontaneous response favouring a match with the South Africans.
