Music Memories

Sir, —I noticed in your paper this morning, on reading “Musie Memories” by Mr. G. A. Kennedy, mention was made of the State concert given in connection with a reception to the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and York, June 19, 1901. I think it would have been a graceful act on the part of Mr. Kennedy to have mentioned that the late Mr. W. McLaughliiL also at that time on the staff of the Government Life Insurance office, had the arranging of the musical part of this reception. I believe I am correct in saying that the Duchess of York (now Queen Mary) congratulated Mr. McLaughlin afterward. —I am, etc., MUSIC LOVER.
