A request from.the committee of musical societies and bands for an indication of whether the council would agree tp the eqpal division of proceeds of Sunday concerts in the Town Hall among the bands and societies was received by the Wellington City Council last ivght, and was left to the concert committee. Cr. P. M. Butler asked if the council would arrange for tramway advertising of the concerts, and an undertaking that this would be considered so far as it did not conflict with existing contracts was given by the Mayor, Mr. T. C. A. Hislop,
