POLICE RAID SEQUEL
Man Faces Gaming Charge By Telegraph—Press Association. Wairoa, July 27.; As a result of a raid carried out by the Wairoa police on Saturday on premises known as Galbraith’s billiard saloon, North Clyde, the proprietor, Lionel Egbert Galbraith, aged 46, appeared in the Magistrate’s Court charged with using the premises as a common gaming-house. On the application of the police, he was remanded to appear on Wednesday.
