A fractured right ankle was received by Mr. R. Campbell, waterside worker. 223 Rintoul Street, when he slipped ami fell on the track at Newtown Bark yesterday morning. He was taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance. Injuries to his chest and shock were received by Mr. T. AV. Bognuda, quarry foreman, who lives at G Boulcott Street, when a motor-lorry ran backward and struck him at a Quarry at Lower Hutt on Saturday morning. He was taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance.
