The importance of continued advancement in refrigeration methods was stressed to the New Zealand Association of Refrigeration in Wellington on Thursday by Dr. E. Marsden, of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research. He described the practice of thoroughly up-to-date refrigeration methods as of prime importance to national welfare, as the only way to secure the best prices for fruit, wool and butter was to deliver these products to the overseas market, in their pristine condition. The association, he said, was doing a valuable work for the community in helping to apply the results of research to the practice of marketing.
