YOUNG GIRL’S PLIGHT OUTSIDE PICTURE THEATRE Through au unfortunate misunderstanding a certain young lady of Christchurch had an unenviable experience. It was a very foggy night, and for more than half an hour she waited outside a theatre for somebody who did not arrive. At 8.30 she gave uj> hope and went home with her feet like lee and thoroughly chilled in body and spirit. The mother’s surprise turned to anxiety when the girl started sneezing and shivering. Mother piomptl.v prmiueed a bottle of Baxter's Lung Preserver, gave her a good dose, and ordered her to bed. Another dose in the morning before leaving for the office prevented the cold developing, and her equanimity was further restored by a telephone ring from the boy-friend, who was able to satisfactorily explain the misunderstanding Tliis is another actual instance where “Baxter's" takeu in time will prevent serious developments from ehills or colds. If a cold has been neglected, there is also nothing like “Baxter’s” to root it out of the system. Everyone with a persistent cough should lake “Baxter’s” regularly, and with other common - sense precautions should rapidly throw it off. “Baxter's” tonic properties are also valuable in accelerating recovery and preventing relapses. “Jlaxter’s” is so palatable that youngsters ask for It. Every family should have the extra large bottle 4/6, which is so economical. This size and the popular 1/6 and 2/6 sizes are on sale nt all chemists and stores throughout New Zealand. —Advt.
