McCready Beats Woods
By Telegraph —Press Association. West port, July 26. A wrestling bout between Earl McCready and Kopach Woods was won by McCready with a pin fall with a crutch hold in the seventh round. The Theatre Royal was crowded and spectators were treated to an interesting match devoid of showmanship. Wood,-’, who was considerably lighter than his opponent, made a very game showing.
WIN FOR BLOMFIELD By Telegraph—Press Association. Gisborne. July 25. Before a crowded house, Lofty Blomfield (Hist. 61b.) beat Sam Leathers (16 st.) by one fall in the eight round with n bodj’ press following a dump. The bout wan spectacular with much showmanship but also good, hard wrestling.
KRUSE BEATS FORSGRFN
By Telegraph—Prese Association. Dunedin, July 26. In n professional wrestling contest last night Bob Kruse (Lost. 61b.) beat Jack Forsgren (Kfet. Sib.) by two falls to one. The bout was dull in the early stages but livened up ns it progressed. Kruse scored with wrestlock and body press in the third round. Forsgren equal:md in the next with a boston crab, but in the sixth Kruse securer! the deciding ball in the same manner as the first.
