Union Cargo Service

The following are the movements of Union Company vessels engaged in its intercolonial cargo service:— The Kaikorai it> to leave Newcastle today for Port Stephens, Port Kembla and Sydney to complete loading for Auckland. The Kainiiro is to leave Greymouth about the end of this week for Melbourne and Adelaide.

lhe Kairanga is to load at Edithburg to-morrow and completes at Adelaide and Melbourne for New Plymouth, Auckland, Wellington and Lyttelton. ’•*’ 11(! Kalwarra is to leave Napier next Thursday for Newcastle. She will load there about August 5 and completes at 1 ort Stephens and Sydney for Wellington and Napier. The Kalingo is to load at Newcastle next Saturday and completes at Sydney for New Plymouth, Picton and Wanganui. 1 lie Karetu is to leave Bluff to-day for Sydney. She will then load at Newcastle about August 4 and completes at Sydney and Hol>jrt for Bluff, Dunedin, Timaru, Lyttelton and Oamaru. The Kiwitea, from Melbourne, Edithburg and Adelaide, is due at Dunedin at 7 a.m. to-day, thence to Lyttelton, Wellington, Napier and Portland to complete discharge. She is due here next Thursday. The Waikouaiti, from Newcastle arid Port Kembla, was to have left Sydney on Saturday for Bluff, Dunedin, Timaru and Lyttelton. The Waipahl is to leave Auckland about August 5 for Suva to load for Auckland, thence to Suva and Sydney. The Waitaki is now due at Wellington to-morrow morning from Lyttelton to complete discharge of her Melbourne cargo. She is to leave here again later in the day for Melbourne, via Bluff. The vessel is to leave Melbourne again on August 5 for l£luff, Dunedin, Lyttelton and Wellington. CAMBRIDGE DUE TO-DAY. To continue discharge of her New York cargo the Federal steamer Cambridge, which is running under charter to the A. and A. Line, is due at Wellington this morning from Auckland and will berth at the Pipitea Wharf. She is to leave here again on 'Wednesday for Lyttelton, Dainediu and Australia to complete discharge. NAPIER STAR REPLACED. The Blue Star Line advises that the Tacoma Star will now leave London on August 6 for Dunedin and Lyttelton in place of the Napier Star. She is due at Dunedin on September 14. HERTFORD CLEARS BALBOA. Cabled advice has been received by the Federal Company that the Hertford, en route from Liverpool to Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff, cleared Balboa last Thursday. She is due at Auckland on August 13. AKAROA’S MOVEMENTS. The Shaw. Savill liner Akaroa is now to leave Auckland on July 31 for Port Chalmers to_ continue her Homeward loading. She will later complete at Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland. The vessel is now due here on August 8 and is to clear Auckland Anally on August 15 for Southampton and London, via the Panama Canal. KENT SAILS. Having completed her Homeward loading, the Federal steamer Kent left Wellington at midday, on Saturday for London, tvonmouth, Liverpool, Manchester and Glasgow, via the Panama Canal. TANKER NEW ZEALAND. With bulk motor-spirit from San Francisco for the Texas Oil Company, the tanker New Zealand arrived in the stream at Wellington late on Saturday night from Auckland and berthed yesterday morning at the Point Howard Wharf. She is to move to-day to Pipitea Wharf, and will leave later in the day for Lyttelton, Dunedin and Australia to complete discharge. LIMERICK LATER. The Union Company's motor-ship Limerick. loading on the Pacific Coast, is now scheduled to clear Los Angeles on August 6 for Auckland, Wellington. New Plymouth, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Australia. CHANGE OF NAME. The Aberdeen and Commonwealth liner Hobson's Bay is to be renamed Esperance Bay. The former Esperance Bay has been acquired by the Shaw, Savill Company and will be known as the Arawa, replacing the lonic. WAIOTAPU LATER. The Union Company’s Walotapu is now due at Wellington to-morrow from Napier to continue discharge of her Pacific Coast cargo. She will leave here again on Wednesday for Lyttelton, Dunedin and Australia to complete. THE CANADIAN SCOTTISH. The Montreal-Australia-Ncw Zealand Line steamer Canadian Scottish is reported to have cleared Quebec last Friday. She was scheduled to leave Montreal on •Tulv 21 for _A.ucklan«l. ’Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin to the agency of the Port Line. ZEALANDIC CLEARS CURACAO. Tlie Shaw.
