AN EARLY START
The South Islands of New Zealand Travel Association came into being only on Wednesday. And on the day of its foundation it received. its first commission to assist, tourists in its own field. Mr. H. M. Chrystall read a letter he had received from the New Zealand Government Tourist Bureau in Sydney, giving particulars of a “specially-con-ducted totir of New Zealand” which is being arranged in Sydney. “The object of advising you of the project Is that you may let your Travel Association know of it.” the letter states, “and should the party eventuate, to contact them during their stay in your city, -in terms of the promise made in the leaflet which I am informed was agreed upon between yourself and Mr. Heslehursb.” Mr. W. J. Heslehurst is the organiser of the tour.
