To-day’s Recipe
AN AUSTRIAN SAVOURY This is an Austrian savoury which is eaten with a fork. It also makes an excellent sandwich filling. Take Goz. white cheese and crumble it up, add mustard, paprika, anchovies and garlic to taste. Moisten with a dessertspoonful of beer, and one teaspoonful of rum. Mix well together and leave to stand for a while, so that the cheese absorbs the flavours. If required as a sandwich filling the cheese and other ingredients should be mashed together.
