Reclassification Work For Commissioners

“There will be plenty of work for two commissioners, for there is a lot of regrading and reclassification to do,” said the Minister of Finance, Hon. W. Nash, when discussing the provision in the Finance Bill for the appointment of joint Public Service Commissioners, during the second reading debate on the Bill in the House of Representatives last night. Mr. Nash explained that the existing law authorised the appointment of a Public Service Commissioner and two assistant commissioners. For some years, however, the clause relative to the appointment of the two assistants had uot operated. ■
