RED CROSS BALL
A special feature of the Reel Cross ball, which is to be held in the Town Hall on Thursday, July 30, is the competition for the best “Okie English costume,” for which a prize of a return trip and one week at Rotorua has been offered. The winner will be welcomed on arrival at Rotorua by the Mayor. The entries open on July 25 and close on July 30, when the winner will be declared at 1 a,in. Entries must be accompanied by name, character and fee of one shilling. Voting begins on entry and eloses at midnight at the ball.
