Heavy Seas Batter Stern By Telegraph—Press Association. Greyniouth, July 22. With a moderation of the seas to-day, further personal effects of the „ crew were secured from the Abel Tasman. Twenty members of the crew will leave to-morrow by motor for Picton, en route to Sydney. The men will sail by the Marama on Friday from Auckland. The nine remaining members are required to give evidence at a magisterial inquiry probably next week. Captain G. Knowles, underwriters’ representative, to-day' Inspected the wreck, and has communicated his report to his principals. Heavy seas have begun to batter in the stern of the vessel.
