Another New Zealander who has done well for himself in the Royal Air Force is Squadron Leader N.' P. Dixon. A.F.C., who has just received an appointment for duty with the Egyptian Army Air Force. In Australia when the war broke out, Squadron Leader Dixou joined the Australian Imperial Forces in 1914 and transferred to the Royal Flying Corps in 1916. serving with distinction in France and Italy. He is no stranger to Egypt, having been there from 1926 to 1930 with the Royal Air Force. Last month the Air Ministry announced that Squadron Leader Dixon would not be retired when he reached the age limit for his rank, but would be retained in the service until he became 50. ■ ' ; ’
