SOUTH CANTERBURY GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP

Kerr, jun., won the South Canterbury amateur golf championship to-day, tieing with the titleholder. J. R. Mackay, in the aggregate of the morning and afternoon rounds. Kerr snatched victory by one stroke on the last hole in the play-off over 11 holes.
