The manner in which the roll-num-ber of'' technical classes reacted to current trade conditions was mentioned by Dr. D. E. Hansen, principal of the Christchurch Technical College High School. Commenting on the agricultural class, he said: “There will probably be an increase there soon. The price of butter has gone up.” Similarly, he said, the wool-classing course brought surprising attendances by a noticeably, good wool sale.
