Pluto Defeats Mudgway

A return professional boxing match between Cyril Pluto, of Australia, and Neville Mudgway. of Waihi, resulted in a win on pointe for Pluto at the end of 15 three-minute rounds. A preliminary professional contest between Frank Hutchine, of Eltham. and C. Saunders, of Hamilton, was stopped in the fifth of a scheduled six-round match when the referee awarded the decision to Hutchine after repeatedly warning Saunders for clinching.
