ITALIAN CLUB MEETS
At the recent fortnightly meeting of the Circolo di Lingua e Cultura Italians, Professor E. J. Boyd-Wilson presided. The programme for the evening was in the hands of the patron, Cav. Dott. Mario Dessaules. Acts II and HI of “La Locandiera (Goldoni) were read by Miss Canavera, Dr. A. D. Carbery, Dr. Marshall Macdonald, Signor V. A. Truda, Signor O. Carraro and Signor A. Comparini. The were congratulated upon a diverting performance. Delightful music by the McLean-Reid Trio completed the entertainment. The programme with “Gioviuezza” and “God Save the King,” after which supper was served. The usual classes were conducted by the Consul and Sigg. Carraro and V. A. Truda.
