Sports fixtures in the inter-training college tournament between Auckland and Wellington were finalised to-day, when the hockey, basketball and Rugby competitions were decided. Auckland was successful in winning the Milnes Memorial Shield for most points gained in all sports events.
Details of the events are:— Rugby.—Auckland 11, Wellington 0. Men’s Hockey,—Wellington 6, Auckland 3. Women's Hockey.—Auckland 6, Wellington 4. Basketball.—Wellington 16, Auckland 15.
