Lead to Prison

Warsaw, June 21.
One hundred and five German Nazis have been sentenced to terms of imprisonment ranging from ten years to eighteen months on charges of attempting to separate Upper Silesia from Poland by a military revolution, for which they had organised a membership of several thousands, imported arms from Germany, and drilled secretly in forests at night time. Hundreds fled to Germany when the organisation was discovered. Two of the ringleaders recently committed suicide. Forty-five were acquitted. HIGH TREASON CHARGES imprisonment For Saar Residents (Received June 21, 7 p.m.) Berlin, June 21. Twenty-nine Saar residents, including six women, have been sentenced to imprisonment for periods extending to nine years for “high treason against the new Reich by attempting to reestablish a Communist Saar.” The names of the prisoners, judges and counsel were not published for reasons of State.
