Big River Gold Mines, Limited, report for the week ending June 17: —Shaft repairs: The shaft repairs have been completed up to 57 feet above No. 1 intermediate level. On this section it has been necessary to replace all. the old timber and guides. The work now in hand is replacing odd plates and centres on the section up to No. 1 adit level. Repairs to No. adit level: Three men are now engaged in cleaning out No. 2 chamber and repairing the level where necessary.
