Sydney, June 20.
News that the Joseph Conrad has arrived at Papeete was received with considerable relief in Sydney.
No details of the vessel’s movements prior to her reaching Papeete are known here.
AUCKLANDER’S MESSAGE
By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, June 20.
A wireless message was received today by Mr. Henley, whose son joined the Joseph Conrad at Auckland in February, that the vessel arrived at Papeete on Thursday afternoon. AU aboard were well. He said that the Joseph Conrad will later continue her voyage to England, via Cape Horn and New York.
