FOUND DEAD ON ROAD
Motor-cyclist With Severe Head Injury
Dominion Special Service.
. Wanganui, June 21. A man, whose surname is said to be Goile, was found dead on the Wanga-nui-Wangaehu highway near Wangaehu on Saturday night. His motorcycle was lying a few feet away. The body was discovered by a passing motorist. There were severe head injuries. It is thought he struck some obstruction on the road, or else lost control of the machine.
A chapter of minor accidents also occurred on Saturday. Two cars collided at Kaitoke and were slightly damaged, one driver suffering superficial injuries. Another collision happened at Westmere, between a motor van and a .car, but without serious result. A youth was knocked over by a car in Victoria Avenue in the evening and was admitted to the Wanganui Public Hospital, but was discharged on Sunday.
