A PLAY-READING
The play-reading circle of. the University Women’s Club recently gave an enjoyable reading of “Lovers’ Leap,” by Philip Johnson. Mrs. Craig and Mrs. Ross as Helen Storer and Sarah Traille respectively were very suitably cast in this amusing play. Roger Storer (Miss Batham), Cedric Norreys (Miss Down) and Poynton (Miss Beckway) provided a harmonious balance and the reading went with a joyous pace which was most entertaining to the audience.
