Before a large audience recently, Mr. H. T. B. Drew, New Zealand Publicity Officer in England, lectured at Brighton on “Beautiful New Zealand.” It was an attractive address, well illustrated with films and lantern slides. The lecturer took care to point out the cheapness of a New Zealand holiday and the attractions to be found there. The address was part of the New Zealand High Commissioner’s campaign in the South of England for tourists and settlers of means. The demolition of Church House, Westminster, is scheduled to begin on August I.
