According to reports from Christchurch H. N. Wiggins is going south next week and will be riding at the Oamaru meeting.
Golden England, who is engaged in the steeplechase at Opqtiki on Tuesday next, it> reported an unlikely starter.
Five of the seven runners left in the Century Hurdles at Wanganui to-day hail from the Taranaki province, so between them they should-collect the major portion of the stake.
