Soccer Programme.

The Wellington Football Association will stage the following senior championship matches this afternoon: — First A Division, 2.45 p.m.: Hospital v. Diamonds, Hospital No. 1;_ Petone v. A representative men’s hockey maten will be played at Nai Nai this afternoon between Wellington and Wairarapa. Play will commence at 3 o’clock. Women’s Hockey.

The annual Varsity women’s hockey tournament between the four colleges begin at Karori Park this morning. At 9.30 a.m. Victoria will play Canterbury, and at 10.30 Otago will meet Auckland. This afternoon grade competitions under the control of the W-W.H.A. wiu be continued, when the main senior A attraction will be at Woburn between College Old Girls and the vastly-improved Technical Old Girls’ second team, play to commence at 3 p.m. At Kilbirnie Huia meet Poneke, and Varsity oppose Switts at 2 and 3 p.m. respectively, while at Karori Park Technical Old Girls first team should provide an interesting tussle with Hutt United at .2 p.m., Toa and Training College playing on the same field at 3 p.m. * . , All the senior B matches will be played at Newtown Park. At 2 p.m. Upper Hutt meet Hospital on No. 2 ground, and fet. Joseph’s oppose Wenerei on No. 1 ground. At 3 p.m. Hutt play Wesley on No. 1 ground, and Technical Old Girls meet Poneke on No. 2 ground.
