Butter and Cheese Markets Slow
A. S. Paterson and Co., Ltd., received cable advice from J. and J. Lonsdale and Co. (London), Ltd., as follows: —Butter market quiet; buyers inactive. New Zealand, 107/-. Australian, 106/, Danish, 93/- f.0.b.; 114/- landed. Cheese market slow. New Zealand white, 59/- to 59/6, coloured, 59/- to 59/6. Joseph Nathan and Company, Ltd., have received from their principals, Trengrouse and Nathan, Ltd., London, the following cabled advice, dated June 19:— New Zealand butter, 107/- per cwt.: very quiet.
Cabled advice received by Mr, G. A. Mills from A. J. Mills and Co., Ltd., Loudon, gives the following market prices as ruling at the close of business on Thursday : Butter market slow.
