Britain’s war pensioners and their dependants now number less than 1.000,090. At the present rate of decrease, about 50.000 a year, the list will last until 1966. Girls employed by the British Post Office must serve six years before thej become eligible for the dowry given by the G.P.O. to female employees who leave to get married.
Oi?car Alexander Lee, labourer (Mr. J. J. Garbutt) was granted a decree nisi in divorce on the ground of separation from Esther Elizabeth Lee in the Supreme Court at Wellington yesterday.
