WOMAN ARRESTED
Charge of Housebreaking

New Plymouth. June 18.
A reported case of housebreaking at AA'estown yesterday was followed in tha late afternoon.by tbe arrest of a nmrried woman, aged about -I’2, who appeared before justices of tlie peace this morning' charged with breaking and entering a house and the theft if a gold watch, bed clothes, crockery and other articles of n total value of £5. The police intimated that other charges were pending, and accused, for whom bail was not asked, was remanded till July 1, the Bench agreeing to suppress her name.
