Ministerial. The Hon. W. Nash, Minister of Finance, will leave Wellington this morning for Hastings, where he will address the National Dairy Conference. The Hon. F. Jones, Postmaster-Gen-eral, left Wellington last night for Dunedin. He is due hack in Wellington on Tuesday morning. The Hon. W. Lee Martin, Minister of Agriculture, will leave Wellington tonight for Dunedin, where he will open the Otago Winter Show. Mr. Justice Northcroft arrived at Wellington yesterday morning from Christchurch to attend a sitting of the Court of Appeal. Mr. W. A. Boucher is an Auckland visitor to Wellington. Mr. W. Johnston, Christchurch, is a visitor to Wellington., Mr. M. Myers arrived at Wellington yesterday morning from the south. Mr. J. L. Passmore, Dunedin, arrived at Wellington from the south yesterday morning. Mr. E. A. Batt was a passenger from Wellington last night for the South Island. Mr. George Laurence, Hawera, secretary of the South Taranaki Automobile Association, is a visitor to Wellington. Commander C. B. Tinley, officer commanding the Devonport naval base, arrived at Wellington yesterday from Auckland. Mr. W. R. Carey, manager of the Kalapoi Woollen Co., Christchurch, arrived at Wellington from the south yesterday morning. Mr. T. N. Smallwood, joint managing director of the Mortgage Corporation, returned to Wellington yesterday morning from a brief visit to Auckland. Mr. H. Robinson, Australian and New Zealand factory representative for Standard motor-cars, left Wellington last night for Auckland, en route to Sydney. Tlie Rev. F. T. Read, district vicepresident of the Returned Soldiers’ Association for Canterbury and Westland, arrived at Wellington yesterday to attend the annual meeting of the Dominion Council of the New Zealand Returned Soldiers’ Association. Messrs. B. O. Priddis, W. E. Lead ley. Dr. F. Blrkinshaw (delegates from the Christchurch Returned Soldiers’ Association) and Mr. E. F. Willcox (a member of the Dominion general committee) will arrive at Wellington this morning.
