SONS OF TEMPERANCE
There was a large attendance at. the quarterly meeting of the Sons of Temperance. which was' ojiened by Bro. A. Gamon, W.P. After the opening Bro. G. 'Simpson, P.M.W.P., of Sunbeam. Wanganui, was introduced, and took the chah'. Sister Sterling was reported to be still sick Bro. Hitchings reported on dispensing matters, and Bro. Gamon on Die medical institute. 331 C election of officers resulted as follows :—Bro Gamon, W.P.; Sister R. Sterling, W.A.; Bro. Ilitchings, R.S.; Bro. Parsons. F.S.: Bro. Hirst. Chap.; Bro. Steel. Cond.: Sister H. Sterling. I. Sent.; Sister Devereux. I’.W.P. Bro. Simpson installed the new officers. Bro. Hirst introduced the subject of advertising the order throughout the Norili Island, which was debated by (lie. members present. Bro. Simpson gave an interesting talk on advertising and extending the order.
