EDUCATIONAL TOUR
College Boys Visit Motor Liner Ou Saturday morning a party of about 80 boys from Wellington College under the charge of Mr. I. Hislop one of their masters, paid a visit to tin Shaw, Savlll and Albion Company s motor-ship Waiwera, which was loading at the Glasgow Wharf for London. The visit, which was one of a series of visits to industrial and other establishments for educative purposes, proved full of Interest to the boys, who insnected every department of this up-to-date cargo ilner. In addition to Inspecting the navigational and cargo working appliances of the ship, the bovs were conducted through the en-gine-room, where the working of the great 10-cylinder Diesel oil engines, and all the auxiliary machinery as well as tlie operation of the refrigerating machinery were explained to them.
