Alberta Prosperity Bonds
Calgary. June 12.
The Alberta branch of the Canadian Manufacturers’ Association has notified the Premier, Mr. Aberhart, that the prosperity bonds he proposes to issue as a medium of exchange will not bo accepted by business men. The bonds really are scrip on which each recipient must affix stamps which are termed an intolerable turnover tax.
