LODGE REUNION
A reunion of past and present members of Pioneer Lodge was held in the Rechabite Hall this week to celebrate the 55th anniversary of Sir Richards’ membership of the lodge. The Hon. B. C. Robbins, M.L.C., presided. Apologies were read from Mr. W. Jordan. M.P.. and Mr. R. Ai Wright, M.P. The newly-eleeted Grand Lodge officers, Sir Fabian. G.V.T., Sir Richards, grand treasurer, Bro. Trevethiek, grand secretary, Bro. Huxford, grand assistant-sec-retary, Bro. Petherick, P.G.C.T., and Bro. Simpson, A.G.L., member from Wanganui, and the Grand Lodge advisory board, were given au official welcome. The programme comprised songs by Mrs. Janson and Bro. Overton, a recitation by Miss Henry, and duets by Mr. and Mrs. Childs.
