When garments are hung on coat; hangers and hooked over an outside line to dry it is advisable to tie the hanger to the line or to fix a peg at each side to hold it in place. If it is not fastened in some way it is apt Io slide along the line, especially if clothes-props are used. On. windy days when a line is inclined to swing with the flapping of the clothes, the props may be kept from slipping by means of pegs on the line at each side of them..
