Gold Mining Returns Talisman Dubbo Gold Mines reported to the 'Wellington Stock Exchange that 44 4-5 tons of ore was treated at the Golden Dawn battery for an approximate realisation of £352. The Stafford return for the period ended May 29 was 51 oz. Sdwt. smelted gold from 11,750 yards treated. The previous return was 490 z. from 9199 yards. Saricb and party, tributers in the Dawn of Hope Mine, crushed two loads for 270 z. of gold, Aro and party one load for ICoz. 15dwt.. Taylor and party one load for 3oz. 15dwt., Fitzpatrick and party one load for 3oz. sdwt. London Lamb Market Firmer Lambs: With better demand, market has firming tendency. Wethers: Market steady. Ewes: Market steady with improved demand. Beef: Prices nominal. Porkers: Market steady and looks like getting firmer. Baconers: Market quiet.
