The by-laws committee reported to the Lower Hutt Borough Council last night that no complaints were now being made concerning the conduct of Saturday night dances at the Horticultural Society's Hall, certain restrictions having been agreed to by Ibe society. On the recommendation of the committee Mrs. J. Williams, of Kelburu, was appointed librarian, from over 80 aonlicants.
