A DINNER PARTY

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Whyte, who will leave Wellington to-morrow for London, where they will take up their residence, were guests of honour at a farewell dinner party given in their honour at the Hotel St. George last night by Mr. and Mrs. Harry Whyte. The dining-table was artistically decorated with vivid anemones and trailers of delicate ferns, and dainty posies were presented to the women prewent. The hostess presented Mrs. Herbert Whyte with a beautiful bouquet. During dinner opportunity was taken to wish “bon voyage” to the guests of honour and the best of luck in their new home. Others present at the dinner party were Mr. and Airs. Leslie Whyte. Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Fitzgibbons. Mr. and Mrs. Kennedy, Miss Conroy, Mr. Fairley.
