Mrs. TV. L. Ward is a Wellington vis itor to Napier. Mrs. C. E. Richardson, Selwyn Terrace, is visiting Rotorua. Mrs. Eric Waters, Karori. has returned home from a trip to Rotorua. Mrs. Jervis, Lower Hutt, is visiting Auckland.
Mrs. Eric Lees, Ku wan, who has been visiting Wellington, has returned home. Mrs. AV. IL Dagger, Christehuien, is visiting AVellington. Mrs. A. S. Taylor, who has been visiting AVellington, has returned to Christchurch.
Mrs. M. Sherwood King. Tinakori Road, has returned from a visit to AVanganui.
Mrs. AV. Harding, AVanganui, and her small son, John, are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. AV. Hill. Hinaknra.
Miss E. Forde, Hill Street, who has been spending a fortnight in Hawke’s Bay and Rotorua, • has returned to AVellington.
Mrs. A. Beadie-Trail, Ceylon, who has been in AVellington for several weeks, is now the guest of her sister, Mrs. G. J. Morrall, New Plymouth.
Miss Edna J. Shirpser, a medical social worker of San Francisco, who has been on a round trip of Australia, arrived in AVellington by the Maunganui yesterday, en route to America.
Miss F. Marks, Eastbourne, who has been staying at the Orient Hotel since her brother, Mr. Marcus Marks, left for Eurojie, will leave on a visit to Sydney and Melbourne by the Monowai on Friday.
Miss Eila Chapman, Lower Hutt, will arrive in Christchurch this morning to visit her sister, Mrs. Huthwaite, Ronaldson, Fendalton. Mrs. Ronaldson will leave Christchurch in about a fortnight to make her home in AVellington, where her husband has been transferred
Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Gardiner, Aucklan. and formerly of Christchurch and Wellington, left by the Aorangi for a trip to Vancouver, Banff, Toronto, Montreal and New York. They will return via the United States, visiting Chicago, Indianapolis, Seattle and Victoria, B.C.
Dr. and Mrs. C. E. Adams, Telford Terrace, accompanied by Dr. Adams’s brother, Mr. Gore Adams, Egypt, who is on holiday in New Zealand, and Miss E. Jacobson, left Wellington yesterday afternoon for Picton, from where they will start on a motor tour of the South Island.
Miss Nancy Jobson, principal of Hopewood House School, Darling Point, Sydney, who has been visiting New Zealand, has returned to Australia. Miss Jobson was the first principal of Queen Margaret College, AA’ellington, and received a rousing welcome when she visited the school during her stay in AVellington.
